Ikan’s Privacy Policy covers the collection, use and disclosure of personal information that may be collected by Ikan when you use the Ikan Service and visit our website. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy practices, including what type of information is gathered, how that information is used and for what purposes, under what circumstances we may disclose information and to whom, how you can instruct us to limit the use of information, and how we safeguard your personal information.

What Personal Information About Customers Does Ikan Gather?

The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your shopping experience. There are the various types of information that we gather:

● Product Consumption Information: We receive and store information about you and your use of the Ikan Service and the Ikan Devise and information about the products that you scan using the Ikan Device.

● Information You Provide: We receive and store any information you enter while using the Ikan Service or visiting our web site. Web site and or give us in any other way. You may elect not to provide certain information, but you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our service, and communicating with you.

● Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Services, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses our web site.

● E-mail Communications: We often receive a confirmation when you open e-mails from Ikan if your computer supports such capabilities. We also compare our customer list to lists received from other companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers. ● Information from Other Sources: Other sources may provide us with information about you and we may add it to our account information.

What About Cookies?

● Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features to you such as reminding you of items you have ordered in the past that you may wish to order again.

How Ikan Uses the Information We Gather?

We use information about our customers for such purposes as responding to your requests, processing and filling your orders, verifying your applications for certain products and services, billing, improving our services, providing an enhanced an more personalized shopping experience, communicating with you, and informing you of special offers and discounts. We may use your information to send you free samples of new products or products different from those that you usually order. We may provide your information to third parties to the extent necessary or desirable to fill your order or complete your transaction including, without limitation, local retailers and credit card companies.

Does Ikan Share the Information It Receives?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business. We share customer information as described below:

● Local Retailers: We provide your selected local retailer(s) with information about you and your orders so they can fulfill your orders and present you with other shopping opportunities.

● Other Product Suppliers: We provide other product suppliers with information about you so they can present you with other shopping opportunities. If you do not wish to receive such offers, please exercise your right to opt out by adjusting your Customer Communication Preferences.

● Free Product Sampling: We sometimes send offers to selected groups of Ikan customers on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name and address. If you do not want to receive such offers, please exercise your right to opt-out by adjusting your Customer Communication Preferences.

● Third-Party Service Providers: We work with other companies and individuals to perform functions in conjunction with the Ikan Service on our behalf. Examples include sending postal mail and e-mail, analyzing customer lists and other data, providing marketing support, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

● Business Transfers: We might sell or buy our service or business units, in which case customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy, unless the customer consents otherwise. If Ikan or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

How Secure Is Information About Me?

● Only the last five digits of your credit card numbers will be revealed when confirming an order. We do, of course, transmit the entire credit card number to the credit card company during order processing.

What About Third-Party Advertisers and Links to Other Websites?

Which Information Can I Access?

Ikan provides you with access to information about your account and your interactions with Ikan for the limited purpose of viewing and, in some cases, updating that information.

What Are My Choices?

● As noted above, you can choose not to provide information, although it may be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of certain Ikan features.

● To properly use the Ikan Service, it is necessary that you receive reminder emails from Ikan about your activities. However, if you do not wish to receive other types of e-mail or other mail from us or do not wish to have your information used in any of the other manners identified in this Privacy Policy, please adjust your Customer Communication Preferences. (If you do not wish to receive Terms of Use and other legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Policy, those notices will still govern your use of Ikan, and it is your responsibility to review them for changes.)

● If you do not wish us to provide your name or email or other address to third parties for marketing purposes, please adjust your Customer Communication Preferences.

May Children Use Ikan?

Ikan does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18, you may use the Ikan Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions If you choose to use the Ikan Service or visit Ikan website, such use or visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the State of New York. You provide information when you use the Ikan Dervice to scan any product and when you search, buy, participate in a contest or questionnaire, or communicate with customer service. For example, you provide information when you scan a product, search for a product; place an order through the Ikan Service or one of our local retailer sellers; make a purchase; provide information in Your Account or Your Profile; communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise; or complete a questionnaire or a contest entry form. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, address, and phone numbers; credit card information; people to whom purchases have been shipped, including addresses and phone number; content of e-mails to us, personal description in Your Profile; and financial information, including Social Security and driver's license numbers.
